VT F&W to Hold Cottontail Hunting Seminar

 

ADDISON, Vt. –The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department will hold a cottontail rabbit hunting seminar from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 at the Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area in Addison.

Hunter Education Instructor, Dan Lovell, along with his beagle, Hunter, will begin the seminar with a workshop about hunting eastern cottontail rabbits with beagles.  The seminar will conclude with a hunt on the grounds of Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area. 

"Both experienced and first-time hunters stand to benefit from this seminar,” said John Pellegrini, hunter education training coordinator with Vermont Fish & Wildlife.

Sign up by Wednesday, February 7 at www.vtfishandwildlife.com.  Go to “Hunt,” then Hunter Education and Fish & Wildlife Seminars.  Space is limited to the first ten people who register, and these seminars fill up quickly so sign up as early as possible.
