ANR Information Technology

The Information Technology Division is a part of the Agency of Digital Services, with dedicated staff assigned to the Agency of Natural Resources.  Our IT staff coordinate the use of office automation tools and innovative, electronic information management technologies such as secure network connectivity, geographic information systems (GIS), document management, and database management. The group is comprised of four sections.

  • The Management Section develops IT plans and budgets, manages IT personnel actions, implements system security policies, and pursues special projects.
  • The Systems Support Section maintains system connectivity for central, regional, and remote office staff members, and provides day-to-day technical support for system users.
  • The Application Development Section develops database applications and supports the development of Agency web sites and webpages.
  • The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) section is an innovative geospatial information technology program providing high quality modern geospatial services, products and data to Agency staff, stakeholders, and the public.
