Wastewater Sampling and Daily Lab Procedures Workshop

The Vermont Rural Water Association is offering several 2-day wastewater sampling lab opportunities. This is a great class for new operators or those needing a refresher. Your analytical data is useless if proper sampling and sound laboratory techniques have not happened. We will be covering sampling locations, proper lab techniques, equipment calibrations, quality assurance, calculations and reporting practices for the analysis of pH, Total Residual Chlorine and Settleable Solids.

The Northeast Section Geological Society of America Annual Conference

The Northeast Section Geological Society of America meeting will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Burlington on March 18-20, 2018. ANR's Geology Division staff will present at the conference and will serve as co-chairs of technical sessions on emerging contaminants (PFOA) in groundwater, geoscience applied to government and community issues, and fault zones.
