MONTPELIER -- Due to current and forecasted heavy rates of falling snow, all state offices will be closing early today, March 14, 2017 starting at noon.
After consultation with representatives of the National Weather Service, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security and VTrans, it has been determined that due to weather conditions, State offices have been authorized to be completely closed effective beginning at 12:00 noon. Only specifically authorized employees are reporting for work.
All regularly scheduled business with state employees at the Agency's main office or regional offices this afternoon will be canceled.
