Notice of Public Meetings and Opportunity for Public Comment
Proposed Language Access Plan
Notice is hereby given that the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) is hosting three public meetings and providing an opportunity for comment on the Agency’s proposed Language Access Plan (LAP or Plan).
The LAP contains the policy and implementation procedures on how the ANR will deliver information and services to persons with limited English proficiency and persons with varying levels of hearing, sight, or speech loss and other communication needs.

The Agency will host three public meetings, two in-person and one virtual:

Written comments on the Language Access Plan can be submitted by email to anr.civilrights@vermont.gov. Public comments must be received by 5:00pm EST on October 28, 2022. Attendance at the public meetings is not necessary to submit written comments.
Requests for accommodations by the person in need must be received by Tuesday, October 11, and can be made by either calling 802-636-7827 or emailing anr.civilrights@vermont.gov.
