Notice of Nondiscrimination

ANR operates its programs, services, and activities without discriminating on the basis of race, religion, creed, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), ancestry, place of birth, disability, age, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or breastfeeding (mother and child). We will not tolerate discrimination, intimidation, threats, coercion, or retaliation against any individual or group because they have exercised their rights protected by federal or state law.

Language Access Plan

The Language Access Plan (LAP) is the guidance the Agency of Natural Resources is planning to implement on how the ANR will deliver information and services to persons with limited English proficiency and persons with varying levels of hearing, sight, or speech loss and other communication needs.

Civil Rights and Nondiscrimination Grievance Procedure

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources has a Civil Rights and Nondiscrimination Grievance Procedure to ensure prompt and fair resolution of complaints from members of the public alleging discrimination in the operation of the Agency's programs, services, or activities.

Accessibility Policy

The State of Vermont has an Accessibility Policy and Grievance Procedure to provide prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and/or the ADA Amendments Act (ADAAA) by a department, agency, or instrumentality of the Executive Branch of the government by reason of employment practices and policies or the provision of services, activities, programs, and benefits.
