Deadline for Comment is September 28
The Clean Water Fund Board is accepting public comments on their final draft recommended Clean Water Fund Budget (dec.vermont.gov/watershed/cwi/cwf) for the next State fiscal year. The Clean Water Fund supports municipalities, farmers, and others in making needed investments in priority projects to improve water quality in Vermont’s lakes, rivers, and wetlands. Your participation in the Clean Water Fund budget process will help the State better understand public priorities for funding clean water improvements.

The Vermont Clean Water Fund was created by Act 64, also known as the Vermont Clean Water Act, which was signed into law in June 2015. The law also established a Clean Water Fund Board to administer the Fund and develop an annual budget proposal that broadly outlines the Fund’s use for clean water improvement programs and activities.
