Vermonters of all ages are invited to learn about winter wildlife tracking on Sunday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Dead Creek Visitor Center in Addison, Vermont. This guided walk is free and open to the public, and registration is required.
Join Chittenden County Forester Ethan Tapper and for a walk in the woods on the Hinesburg Town Forest to showcase the active forest management on these public lands. Wildlife habitat biologist Andrea Shortsleeve will also help lead the walk to discuss the wildlife found there and how they benefit from a healthy forest.

The Northeast Section Geological Society of America meeting will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Burlington on March 18-20, 2018. ANR's Geology Division staff will present at the conference and will serve as co-chairs of technical sessions on emerging contaminants (PFOA) in groundwater, geoscience applied to government and community issues, and fault zones.
